Frequently asked questions
What are the benefits of shipping with Amazon Freight?
Leverage Amazon’s supply chain capabilities to meet your shipping needs. We offer the dependability, tracking, visibility, and high performance you deserve from your shipping partner. Our network runs 24/7, with exception of December 25 and January 01, and since we're customer-obsessed, we've built technology to ensure reliability and visibility from quote to payment.
What services are available for shippers?
We provide full truckload services using 13.6m box or curtain-sided trailers. Spot shipments are live loaded at pickup and live unloaded at your delivery destination. Additional services include load bars and straps. Our online tools allow all shippers to manage their loads on demand. We offer dedicated account managers and 24/7 customer support from our operations specialists.

Today, we do not support multi-stop shipments, intermodal, ocean, personal shipments, flatbed, LTL, small parcel, residential, drayage, or offer lift gates.
Where can I ship?
FTL: We offer coverage across GB with the exception of Scottish Highlands. We ship your products to Amazon, to your facilities, to any other third-party facilities, or anywhere your freight needs to go.

LTL: We offer LTL services across GB with the exception of Scottish Highlands, for goods shipped to Amazon Fulfillment Centres only. To download list of our pick-up zipcodes click here; to download list of our destination zipcodes click here.

UK VAT registered companies may also book continental European shipments through our UK site. DE VAT registered companies can sign-up on our EU website.
What can I ship?
We currently support most commodities that can be shipped in standard 13.6m trailers for live pickup and live delivery. There are some items we cannot accept. We do not support shipping hazardous materials (HAZMAT), those requiring refrigeration, and other prohibited goods. Once you have created an account, please review our terms and conditions and shipment policies for the complete list.

No items should exceed 63.5cm x 63.5cm x 63.5cm, unless it's the only item on the pallet which should fit within the boundaries of a UK or EU pallet. Anything above the dimensions stated is considered Bulky. Additionally, single Item above 15kg is considered Heavy.
How can I monitor my shipments?
Our online tools and self-service transportation management system help you manage your shipments on demand. Our trailers are equipped with GPS tracking, providing you with real-time visibility and the Amazon Relay App ensures real-time visibility to carriers and drivers.
Do you support contractual pricing?
Amazon offers Managed Transportation, including dedicated contract pricing on your predominant lanes.
How do you select carrier partners?
All carriers in our network must meet our compliance standards, including insurance, operating authority and safety. We hold our carriers to the same high standard, whether they are shipping our freight or yours, and consistently monitor delivery time records. We are continuously adding carriers to our network to offer great rates and expanded coverage.
How do I book my first load?
Easy. Create a shipper account in just a few minutes by clicking here. Once your application has been verified, you will receive a confirmation email. You can then begin booking shipments on our website.
How far in advance do I need to book a load?
Book loads with as little as 24-hours notice or up to 10-days out. We require 24 hours notice for all booked shipments to ensure we can plan accordingly within our network.
What are you doing to promote sustainability?
We aim to optimise our network so as to reduce empty miles. Amazon Freight is a contributor to Amazon’s Climate Pledge and commitment to be net carbon zero by 2040.
