A smarter, clearer view of your shipments
Ask any shipper what they’d like to see more of from their freight provider, and the resounding answer is always visibility. Every shipment is a journey, after all and that journey often spans countries, timezones, and multiple modes of transport. Knowing a load is simply ‘in transit’ doesn’t instil confidence. Shippers need granular, real-time updates to effectively manage their operations.
We have been listening, and we’re pleased to share that we’ve upgraded the Amazon Freight tracking interface for UK and EU shippers—making it even more intuitive and seamless to monitor every shipment from end-to-end.
New updates in the freight tracking interface
We’ve introduced several enhancements to the freight tracking interface. These updates give shippers powerful visibility into the status of their Amazon Freight shipments. Here’s what’s new:
- Current shipment status displayed at the top: Each load’s current status now appears prominently at the top of the tracking progress section. This delivers instant clarity on where a shipment stands without needing to scroll for updates.
- New “Progress details” section: The new “Progress details” section gives customers granular insights into their shipment’s journey. They will see a clear, timestamped timeline of key events and milestones, providing better context and more control at every stage.
- Enhanced sidebar with pickup and delivery info: We’ve upgraded the right-hand navigation to include more detailed pickup and delivery information, so shippers can quickly confirm addresses and time windows at a glance.
- Trailer plate numbers included in progress details: For added transparency and tracking precision, trailer plate numbers now appear in the milestone timeline.
Why it matters
These upgrades take the Amazon Freight online portal into a new era of true self-service. All shippers now have seamless, instant access to their load details. This eliminates the friction of needing to reach out to Amazon’s freight team for service updates—although, of course, we are always on hand 24/7/365 if you have any questions or concerns.
The enhancements also give shippers stronger control and greater visibility for each and every load. With clearer progress updates, detailed load milestones, and rich delivery data, customers have all the insights they need to book and manage with confidence.
